Why should we book with Falconry Experience Wales?
We have been established since the year 2,000. Both Luce and Barry have a working background in Nature Conservation. But because of their passion for Birds of Prey decided to set up Falconry Experience Wales to give guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with Raptors. We run personal experiences rather than large groups unless a group session has been booked on a private basis. So that we can give guests a calm non rushed experience.

Due to our location the weather can effect the flying conditions for the birds. We are located on the side of a valley, around 500ft above sea level. The weather conditions that effect experiences are strong wind gusts, constant rain, heavy rain, showers and snow. We check the Met Office forecast regularly, but some times they get it wrong as this is a forecast and may change.

Education for Raptor Conservation
Our Birds are regarded as conservation ambassador’s for raptor conservation. They are respected as that of wild birds, therefore our team of Raptors are not presented as a poke and stroke experience. We give our raptors the opportunity to to display natural behaviours in a natural environment in the hills of Wales for instance our Red Kites will interact with our resident wild kites soaring for up to an hour before returning. The bond between us the birds and their home is very strong, which allows the birds to fly at liberty.
